Brand Marketing Intern - Social, Paid & Influencer

Job Title: Brand Marketing Intern - Social, Paid & Influencer

Job Type: Full-time, fixed-term internship, [3 / 6] months

Location: Brixton, London (Hybrid)

Reporting to: Brand & Content Manager

Start Date: ASAP, flexible for the right candidate

Applications close: Monday 1st November

About the Role

We're looking for an organised, curious graduate to join our Brand team as a Brand Marketing Intern. This is a hands-on, entry-level role at the centre of how Desmond & Dempsey finds and builds relationships with the creators, influencers and people who love the brand. You'll own our gifting programme end to end, from research and outreach to dispatch and follow-up, and you'll see how organic social, paid social and influencer work fit together in a small, fast-moving luxury brand. It's an ideal first role for someone who wants a real foundation in brand marketing, with the chance to grow with the business.

What you’ll do

  • Finding and researching interesting creators, influencers and people we think would love Desmond & Dempsey.
  • Building and maintaining a thoughtful, well-organised list of potential gifting recipients who align with our brand, aesthetic and audience.
  • Reaching out to creators with personalised, on-brand emails to introduce them to D&D and our collections.
  • Managing the gifting process from initial outreach through to product selection, collecting addresses, coordinating dispatch and following up.
  • Keeping our influencer database and gifting tracker up to date, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Monitoring responses, deliveries and any resulting content, keeping track of who's wearing D&D and how they're sharing it.
  • Building relationships with creators and spotting opportunities to develop ongoing connections with people who genuinely love the brand.
  • Helping identify what's working, which creators resonate with our audience and where we could be doing more.
  • Keeping an eye on the cultural landscape and emerging talent to continually discover new people for D&D to connect with.

About You

This is an entry-level role, so you don't need years of experience. You might be a recent graduate, have completed an internship, or simply be looking for your first role in fashion, marketing or social media.

More important to us is that you are:

  • Organised - you love a list, a spreadsheet and knowing where everything is
  • Proactive - you see something that needs doing and get on with it
  • Curious - keen to learn how a brand works beyond just social media

You don't need to be a photographer, graphic designer or copywriter. We’re not looking for a creative - we’re looking for someone organised, switched-on and interested in brands, people and the internet.

Experience with influencer outreach, social media, fashion, PR or marketing is a bonus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn matter more.

To apply

No cover letter necessary. We’d love to see your CV and a little insight into what’s caught your eye lately. Alongside your CV, please share:

  • Three influencers or creators you're loving at the moment. Tell us who they are and, briefly, what you find interesting about them.
  • One brand campaign that's caught your eye. This could be anything from a fashion campaign to a social-first activation. Share a link and a sentence or two on what you think makes it great.

There are no right or wrong answers - we're interested in your taste, curiosity and the things that inspire you.

Send your application to [email protected] with the subject line Brand Marketing Intern - [Your Name].

This is a varied, hands-on role that offers a chance to grow with a small business and exposure to all stages of the product lifecycle. Split between supporting our Product & Design Manager on the creative and technical side of product, and supporting our Production Manager on critical path, supplier coordination, and delivery tracking. Supporting the Production Manager

  • Support supplier compliance admin, including certificate and sign-off tracking
  • Liaise with Wholesale team to maintain and fulfil all account requirements (sustainability, shipping regulations)
  • Assist with supplier audit and inspection report logging
  • Help maintain On Time Delivery (OTD) by tracking data and reporting per supplier
  • Review, measure and approve shipment samples/ bulk fabrics in line with approved standards to ensure correct and on time delivery.

General

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the wider Product team
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing product samples, including courier bookings and shipment documentation where required
  • Attend and take notes in product, critical path and supplier meetings
  • Support ad hoc projects across the commercial and product calendar as needed
  • Join weekly supplier calls, staying up to date on the critical path and building strong relationships
  • Maintain garment, print and development archives

About You

  • A recent graduate (product design, fashion design, merchandising, business, textiles, or a related field), or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Confident with Excel, including formulas and organising data — essential
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop — essential
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • A genuine interest in considered fashion and responsible product development
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, small-team environment
  • A diligent problem solver who takes initiative, follows through and is eager to learn

  • Understanding of garment construction or production processes
  • An interest in the sleepwear/loungewear category
